Refund & Return Policy

This Refund & Return Policy applies to purchases made from L.A.K.I BRIDE (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms described below.

1. Nature of Our Products

All dresses sold by L.A.K.I BRIDE are made-to-order and produced specifically for each customer after the order is placed.

Many of our products are:

  • custom-made
  • made-to-measure
  • altered according to the bride’s measurements
  • prepared individually for a specific wedding date

Because of this, our dresses cannot be resold to another customer.

2. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumer Law)

According to Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized.

Wedding dresses, customized dresses, and made-to-measure items are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has started.

3. Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order within 24 hours after payment confirmation.

After 24 hours materials may already be reserved or purchased and production planning begins. Cancellation after 24 hours is not guaranteed.

If cancellation is approved after 24 hours, a production and material fee (up to 50% of the order value) may be retained. Once tailoring or production has started, the order cannot be canceled.

4. Returns

We accept returns only in the following situations:

  • the wrong item was shipped
  • the dress has a major manufacturing defect
  • the item is significantly different from the ordered model

We do not accept returns due to:

  • change of mind
  • wedding cancellation
  • size choice mistakes by the customer
  • minor differences in color, lace pattern, or handmade details
  • differences caused by monitor or screen color display

5. Measurements Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements.

We strongly recommend professional measurement by a tailor.

L.A.K.I BRIDE is not responsible for incorrect sizing if the measurements provided by the customer are inaccurate.

Minor alterations are normal and may be required locally after delivery.

6. Handmade & Color Variations

Our dresses are handmade. Small variations may occur in:

  • lace patterns
  • embroidery placement
  • beadwork
  • shade of fabric

These differences are not considered defects.

7. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a defective item, you must contact us within 48 hours after delivery.

Please send:

  • order number
  • clear photos
  • video showing the issue

We may offer repair, replacement, or partial refund at our discretion.

Do not return the dress without written approval.

8. Refunds

Refunds are issued only if a manufacturing defect is confirmed and replacement is impossible.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–14 business days after approval.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was caused by us.

9. Shipping Responsibility

Customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, local VAT, and delays caused by customs.

We are not responsible for late delivery caused by courier services, customs inspections, or incorrect shipping address provided by the customer.

10. Alterations After Delivery

Most wedding dresses require final fitting adjustments after arrival. Local tailoring is normal and expected and is not considered a defect.

11. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By placing an order, you agree to contact L.A.K.I BRIDE first to resolve any issue. Opening a chargeback without contacting us may be supported with production documentation, measurements, and communication records provided to the payment provider.
